Triple clamp forks put on bike and cleaned.

I have put new triple clamp forks on my bike and changed the headset and bearings and put on a headset cap that I bought from chain reaction. I have taken apart my forks and in the process of taking them apart i ruined the threads on the allen key bolts. So I have thaught of using threaded rod instead of bolts to hold it together. In the pictures bellow my bike forks are not held together yet because I havent baught the threaded rod from ebay.
